Directions:
Ch 61
Foundation row: sc in second ch and in each chain across. Ch1, turn.
Row 1: sc in first ch, *ch1, skip 1 sc, sc in next st*, repeat between ** across. ch 1, turn.
Row 2:sc in first ch, *sc in ch 1 sp, ch 1, skip chain sp*, repeat across, working a sc in last sc, ch1, turn.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length.
Last row: sc in first sc, then in each ch 1 space and sc across. Finish off.
Weave in ends
Variations: alternate rows 1 & 2 using two different colors, keeping ends as fringe.
A border can be added, such as a sc or a reverse sc (crab stitch)
